Congratulations and the KFC Snacker

First, congratulations Heidi! Following Heather’s lead, Heidi passed her candidacy exam today and is now officially a Ph.D. candidate. A job very well done. (Anticlimatic, in Heidi’s words.)

For dinner tonight, I picked up three of the new KFC Snacker sandwiches and a large order of potato wedges. I ordered one sandwich with sauce and the other two dry (in case the sauce turned out to be nasty). I have to say that yes, I will order the Snacker again, and no, the sauce did not turn out nasty. In fact, my preference is to have the sauce (I put mustard on the other two). You do need at least two of them to make a meal, though, because they are pretty tiny sandwiches. I must say that I am a fan of the shredded lettuce (I don’t know why, but for some reason it goes nicely on chicken sandwiches). I’ve got better deals for 99 cents, but this wasn’t a ripoff. Quite a good dinner.
