You can’t do control-alt-delete on a pacemaker.
The quote is from Ken Klein, CEO of Wind River Systems, and he is talking about the opportunity for Microsoft to enter the “device software” market. I had not heard of Wind River Systems before, but the preamble of the interview from which the above quote was taken says the company is involved in the software market for all kinds of embedded devices, from DVD players to nerve gas detectors.
