When You Pick On The Wrong Person
January 18, 2006 – 11:56 pmYou’re at a basketball game. You’ve had a bit to drink, and you get a little rowdy. A woman in the stands is rooting loudly for the visiting team. You get some heckling in, but then you lose your composure. Actually, you go nuts, and you start to take a swing at this lady.
A second or two later, you have a 6′9″, 250 pound monster of a man running off the court, into the stands, directly at you. What just happened? You’re a loser at a Chicago Bulls game, and you just swung at Antonio Davis’ wife.
Wow, does your life suck. First, guys just aren’t supposed to take swings at gals. Ever. Not once. Not several times. Never. It’s just not to be done. But, imagine the first time you do (and maybe it’s not the first), and you have Antonio Davis all up in your business. What a hard way to learn that oh so easy lesson.

For a few seconds I thought that this was going to be a personal experience story. The actual story was a bit of a letdown compared to the story that was forming in my head. Of course, I would have been disappointed if you had been the one swinging at girls. But still, the story I had going in my head was better than the one you told.
